Ambrotype Antique Photo of pretty teenage girl in full separated case, c.1854-1865.
This was the 2nd photo process developed in the mid 1800s and very rare to find in such good condition.

Front and back of case has nice design in very nice shape with just some wear as shown on inside edges and at seam where once joined.
Inner frame is copper & brass. Photo is very sharp and clear with just a few age spots to be expected for a 170 + year old photo.
